Delicious Steak with chimichurri sauce - Recipe to try!
A delicious protein-filled and spicy meal. Paleo, Keto-friendly recipe
I love the chimichurri sauce personally, and it's my TO-GO sauce with any food! It's my to-go sauce in my fridge as I use it for Shrimp, Chicken. If you are a carbs/veggie lovers, try with small red potatoes other vegetables or Tofu.
Let's get prepared with the ingredients:

1lb Choice of Steak ( Preferably Organic or local farm)
Additional Spice for meat rub:
Black pepper to taste
Salt to taste
1 tablespoon of organic butter
My Home-Style Chimichurri Sauce
1/2 cup Cilantro
1/2 cup Parsley
1/2 Shallot
Salt to taste
3 pod of Garlic
3 Green peppers (if you like little more spicy)
1/2 teaspoon Oregano
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/3 cup olive oil ( avocado oil also can go with, I grab my available oil)
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 table AVC ( Apple Cider Vinegar)
Rub the steak with the dry rub; let it sit for 5mins or so.
Put all the chimichurri sauce ingredients to the food processor pulse it to coarse texture, so the herbs and oil get mildly emulsify, in case if you don't have a food processor.
The alternate method is to finely chop the ingredient's mix with oil refrigerate for 30mins.
Marinate the meat with 1/2 of the chimichurri sauce for 2 hrs or overnight and refrigerate (overnight imagination give the best flavor)
Get ready to cook:
Take a cast-iron pan let it get heat up to medium-high, butter up the pan, and brown the meat for 3-5min each side.
Put the cast iron in the oven for ~10mins, check-in the inside temperature. Around 135 deg - 145 deg for rare to well done.
To add a little more flavor, I add the lemon wedge, which I use to squeeze lemon juice for my sauce.
Once ready to come out from the oven, cover with a foil and let the meat sit outside for 5 mins.
Ready to Serve!
Serve the Steak top up the chimichurri sauce!
The leftover sauce can go with bread, omelet, any veggie roast, chicken, and shrimp. It can be a side or ingredient for your new recipe creations! Do share!
My kid's favorite meal.
